Maintaining this page proved a bigger challenge than we imagined. In the Fall of 2021 things got back to near-normal, but then the latest variant led a number of churches to curtail in-person worship.

On Friday, July 16 the cap for religious gatherings changes from a percentage of capacity to the number of people the church can hold while maintaining 2m/6ft social distancing.

Check the HKPR Health Unit updated the page about religious gatherings (see link at the bottom of this page).

Churches: If you have a website, use it. Not everyone has or wants Facebook.

As always however, our advice is to CONTACT CHURCHES DIRECTLY, we just don’t always get the latest information. This “meetings and media” page is only as up-to-date as the information you provide.
